A liposome is a spherical vesicle consisting of lipid bilayers. The liposome can be used as a nanocarrier for the encapsulation of pharmaceutical drugs as a process of bottom up synthesis of nonomedicines. Liposomes can be prepared for animal cell by disrupting the cell membranes by sonication.
